TAG, I'm It!
Well, we're back (for now, that is). We've been having computer issues lately which prevents mum from getting online to update my blog and follow-up with all of you! Poo, I say!
My good friend, Avery TAGGED me so I must oblige and post pictures of me and my cutsy tum-tum!
Here goes!
Me and my puppy tummy!
Wasn't I just precious?
I sleep like this a lot!
I especially like to sleep like this after some hardcore playing with my toys!
Here's a front view.
Here's me and dad just laying around!
and a side view!
and me on the couch!
See! I'm ALL about the tummy (and getting as comfortable as possible!)
So, there it is! My very first TAG! Hope I made my friend Avery happy cause I would NEVER want to disappoint!
Hmmmm, now who shall I TAG next?
We TAG Peanut and Boo!

Your belly is so nice and pink!! That's my favourite position too.. ie sleeping with 4 paws in the air!
Liberty,
I had mom and dad help me with this one. They say to go to a health foods store and get either oat flour, soy, or rye flour and omit the wheat germ for that recipe on my blog. We have a family member who is allergic to wheat, and that is what they use. Your mum may just have to try out either of those flours to see what you like best. Mom found another recipe that she has used before. Again, subsitute the wheat and regular flour for an Oat or Rye flour and omit the wheat germ. It has many other ingredients in it that may be a bit more tasty. I will paste that one below :) I hope this helps!
Hugs,
Sitka
Recipe Name: Homemade Doggie Bones
Cuisine: American
Category: Pets
Preparation: bake
Temperature: room, cold
Servings: 12
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup whole-wheat flour
1/2 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup nonfat dry milk
3 tablespoons vegetable shortening
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1/3 cup water
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
2. In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, whole-wheat flour, wheat germ, dry milk, shortening, brown sugar, and salt; mix until crumbly. Add the egg and water; mix well.
3. On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough until smooth. Using a rolling pin, roll out to a 1/2-inch thickness. Using a dog bone-shaped cookie cutter or a knife, cut out biscuits. Place biscuits on the baking sheet and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden. Remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
NOTE: I know dogs love these treats because we tested them with real dogs that couldn't get enough of them! And don't worry if the kids (or even adults) get into them. They're perfectly edible - but not very tasty - for humans. Before giving these to your dog, be sure he/she has no allergies to wheat, eggs or dairy products.
Oh, Sitka's mom here...
i have a friend who does alot of baking. I will see if she has any cookie recipes that I can send as well (free of wheat).
Hugs, Shelli (oh, and Sitka says hi again too)
Your belly gets a lot of air!!
